NIMISHA MANJUNATHAN

3D Character & Creature Animator · Founder, DoublEdge

I’m Nimisha Manjunathan, a 3D Character & Creature Animator and the founder of DoublEdge.

My work focuses on bringing characters and creatures to life through movement  -  from performance and acting to body mechanics, locomotion and stylised animation.

With a background in 3D animation and experience across film, immersive experiences and creative projects, I’m interested in the space where movement, storytelling and visual imagination meet.

THE APPROACH
THE IDEA

EVERY MOVEMENT HAS MEANING

For us, animation is more than making something move.

A pose can reveal personality.
A pause can create anticipation.
A weight shift can change the entire feeling of a performance.

Every movement is an opportunity to communicate something.

DoublEdge approaches animation through performance, observation, timing, physicality and storytelling  - creating movement that feels intentional, expressive and alive.

THE EDGE ISN'T THE BOUNDARY.

DoublEdge began as a personal creative space - a home for animation work, experiments and ideas.

But the ambition goes further.

It is being built as the foundation for a future animation and visual storytelling studio - growing from individual creative work toward original projects, collaborations and production.

Today, DoublEdge is rooted in animation.

Tomorrow, it aims to become a space where animation, technology, visual effects and storytelling come together.

IT'S WHERE WE BEGIN.
